For the time being, we are looking for a Business Development Support Manager based in Mexico City, with a scope of responsibility for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.

 

Our Business Development Support Manager is a strategic element, directly linked to the performance of our business unit. The main objective will be to support implementation of the sales strategy in the region to ensure that annual sales and revenue targets are achieved by developing both existing and new business relationships.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

The Business Development Support Manager will provide strategic information from the market, current development of the region and possible threats from our competitors. In order to give a clearer vision, with the objective of executing with greater efficiency the strategic plan of the region.

  • Implementing the sales plan for the territory.
  • Delivering on revenue growth targets within agreed budgets and being responsible for the account revenues.
  • To generate, follow up and convert leads for new high value opportunities within the addressable market.
  • Driving the sales process from initiation to completion, organising and delivering promotional presentations, attending conferences, events and seminars, identifying and reporting new business opportunities.
  • Supporting the implementation of the sales plan with commercial and administrative such as: providing local market intelligence reports, developing proposals.
  • Updating CRM and CRM champion for the assigned region
  • Developing and maintaining specialist knowledge about our markets, education, assessment and the wider-educational landscape.
  • General support duties such as arranging visits, reports etc.to be completed in a regular and timely manner

     

What we’re looking for

 

Qualifications

  • A minimum of C2 local language and C1 English
  • Degree level in a business related field (essential)

 

Desirable                                                             

  • Postgraduate qualification in Business or Marketing
  • Experience in selling in the ELT or education markets

 

Essential Skills

  • Strong communication skills and autonomy in work
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Relevant language skills – a minimum of C2 local language and C1 English
  • Required competence in standard IT software packages including CRM and Microsoft Office suite
  • Develop essential business information (pivot tables, dashboards, etc)
  • Ability to analyse and manage large databases documents
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with peers and multiple levels of management.
  • Strong problem solving, conceptual thinking, attention to detail, and sense of urgency.
