What it’s about

Cambridge English is looking for experienced Digital Marketing Manager (South Asia) to support the growth of English language learning and assessment solutions in one of the fastest growing markets in the world.  The role of the Digital Marketing Manager (South Asia) will enable conceptualisation, development and implementation of key B2B, B2B2C as well as B2C campaigns. 

 

This will be a key role for lead generation and support performance-oriented campaigns aiding conversions.  The role offers an exciting opportunity to deal with a premium brand and explore mass market opportunities.  Working closely with central Digital Marketing teams in Cambridge as well as other Marketing team members from the group in South Asia, you will work with an influential, international and innovative organisation that’s part of the prestigious University of Cambridge.

 

Lead generation

Delivering B2I and B2B2C campaigns for lead generation and for existing and new solutions, you will also produce campaigns to generate Corporate Recognition and engagement of stakeholder communities under Consumer and B2I initiatives.

 

Delivering results

Responsible for the development, management, and execution of in country marketing activities, in alignment with Cambridge English regional, global marketing plans, you will ensure our brand guidelines support the delivery of revenue, entries and recognition targets developing and implementing offline marketing campaigns and coordinating regional PR activities, events and programmes. 

 

Market Research

Managing the South Asia digital marketing assets (Mobile Apps, portals etc) to generate impact for the region, you will also maintain up-to-date awareness and knowledge of the ELT industry, including competitor activity.  Using this intelligence to inform future activity and messaging development, you will work with Recognition Manager on specific market research and PR for the region in the development and production of local materials, advertising assets and articles for press releases.

 

Evaluating results

Setting targets for and evaluating the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and budget, you will make full use of CRM systems to improve effectiveness of marketing across face to face, digital and email marketing platforms.

 

Stakeholder management skills

You will develop and deliver digital marketing campaigns for South Asia, conducting market research to raise understanding of regional customer needs and drivers.  Taking ownership of direct to Consumer marketing for Cambridge English initiatives, such as Upskill and Linguaskill, as well as other digital Assessment and learning solutions, you will have the ability to develop strong effective relationships with key stakeholders, representing Cambridge English at industry events engaging with participants and gaining market intelligence.

What we’re looking for

Already an experienced Digital Marketing professional with demonstrable experience of Campaign leadership, you’ll also meet the following criteria:

 

Qualifications

Essential: Educated to degree level in a marketing or business discipline

Desirable: Postgraduate qualification in marketing

 

Skills

Essential

  • Digital Marketing Skills (B2C and B2B)
  • Excellent communication skills in English (C1 on CEFR)
  • Project management and organisational skills
  • Strong marketing skills
  • Ability to network and develop strong, effective working relationships
  • Data analysis

 

Desirable

  • Technology background to manage basic coding for campaign integration
