Would you like to join the Talent Acquisition team as we launch a new centralised service?


Cambridge Assessment are centralising Talent Acquisition services, ensuring we attract, recruit and retain the best possible Talent on a global scale. The Talent Acquisition Consultant is a pivotal role in this new service, focussing on the sourcing and retention of high calibre internal and external talent.


A subject matter expert

The Talent Acquisition Consultant will be responsible for the planning and delivery of end-to-end recruitment campaigns for a wide variety of posts.  As a recruitment subject matter expert, you’ll advise on best practice, asking the right questions to understand requirements and devise engaging, tailored and impactful recruitment strategies.


Working at pace and with a focus on hiring manager and candidate experience, you’ll always be one step ahead, building talent pipelines, actively managing campaigns, designing rigorous and effective selection processes, and thinking ‘outside of the box’ to ensure we get it right first time!

In this busy and varied role, no two days will be the same. As well as managing a caseload of campaigns, you’ll have the opportunity to undertake project work relating to areas such as process improvements, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and Employer Branding. This is a chance to really make an impact; ensuring we recruit a diverse workforce and have the right people in place to deliver our strategic objectives.


A bit about you

Already an experienced recruiter, you’ll understand what good practice looks like and be able to add value across all aspects of attraction, selection and onboarding.  Whether you are drafting an engaging advert, direct sourcing through LinkedIn or supporting in the design of selection processes, you’ll take pride in your work and adopt a caring, creative and customer-centric approach.


As natural networker with excellent communication skills and an inquisitive mindset, you’ll inspire confidence at all levels, and be able to build trustworthy relationships with Hiring Managers and candidates.  You will also be confident managing relationships with external suppliers, such as recruitment and media agencies.  


Striking the right balance between a fair and compliant process whilst maintaining flexibility to meet stakeholder needs, you’ll be known for your rigorous organisational skills and attention to detail, alongside a collaborative, proactive and personable approach.


An interest in, and ideally experience of, delivering initiatives to promote and improve equality, diversity, inclusion and belonging is also desirable for this position.
