Head of Talent Acquisition

£60,000 - £65,000

Are you an experienced Talent Acquisition Professional?

And are looking for a stimulating role where you can also enjoy a work life balance? And flexible working patterns

A role that will be both challenging and pivotal to the organisation’s success

Perhaps you are currently a Senior Talent Acquisition Manager/Resourcing Manager and looking for the next step where you can build on your existing skills or you may already be a Head of Talent Acquisition and are looking for the opportunity to use that skillset working for a global brand. As Head of Talent Acquisition at Cambridge Assessment you will be shaping and overseeing the way the organisation recruits and will have responsibility for recruiting a team to support you. You’ll be joining the team at a time when lots of exciting changes are occurring and part of your role will be determining the best ways to recruit for both our long and short terms objectives.

We are also introducing behavioural frameworks, changing our year end reviews to continuous conversations and leading from the front when it comes to flexible working, so lots of positive change on the horizon both in the HR directorate and the wider organisation

A bit more about the role

You’ll be working on process change and helping to embed best practise into the Talent Acquisition team, building connections and relationships with colleagues across our 3 business units, working together with your team to help ensure candidates have a positive and inclusive experience of Cambridge Assessment.

There will also be senior vacancies for you to lead on and long-term goals of working toward more proactive recruitment for you to collaborate on.

You will also be responsible for employer brand improvements and liaising with the wider OD and Talent team on EVP related projects.

Based at the Triangle Building, our new HQ (we have only been here just over a year) and 10 mins from Cambridge Centre, our workspace is designed to enhance employee mental and physical health. We have a heavily subsidised restaurant (complete with vegan options, salad bar and pizza oven), a well-being centre with a gym, dance classes and yoga sessions

A bit more about you

Already an experienced talent acquisition professional, you have a solid in-house background and will have experience of process change, line management and working closely with OD and HR colleagues on workforce planning.

You will also have experience recruiting for senior stakeholders and ideally you will have worked in a complex matrix organisation.

As a manger, you will be supportive and collaborative with strong interpersonal skills and focus on strong team ethic, information and skill sharing and you’ll have a background in developing people.

Don’t be put off you if haven’t yet worked in a Head of Talent Acquisition role, we are also keen to hear from people who are maybe Senior Resourcing or Talent Acquisition Managers who are looking for the next step up but have experience line managing and mentoring others.

We are also open to receiving applications from candidates from a wide range of sectors.
