What it’s about

This role would suit someone with experience of working in a busy office environment, strong organisational and communication skills. The role involves providing administrative support to Group Managers and Product Managers, supporting them with payments, purchasing, meeting arrangements, publication of assessment materials, maintenance of records, resource management and proofreading as required. The post holder will be asked to communicate with external suppliers and consultants. They will work closely with other Group Administrators in the Division.

 

What you’ll be doing

To provide high quality general administrative support for the team members, including managing communications within and beyond the team, re-direct queries in colleagues’ absences, monitoring calendars, setting up accounts and ordering hardware for new PMs,  auditing and updating group resources (e.g. text books required). To manage all aspects of arranging internal and external meetings, including liaison on dates, setting up venues, checking set up/resources required, issuing letters, minute taking.

  • To ensure timely online publication of assessment materials via the School Support Hub
  • To support the team in the production of error free documentation and data via production of clear, accurate documentation (spread sheets, letters, emails) and by proof reading /checking data/documentation as required.
  • To manage commissioning for consultants, including completing commissioning letters and ensuring payment of fees as relevant, manage purchasing and payment of invoices.
  • To support PMs with examiner recruitment and managing examiner applications in liaison with the Product Managers.
  • To support grading procedures via scheduling, booking grading rooms and distribution of data reports to consultants.
  • To contribute to divisional problem solving, liaise and work with other Group Administrators to ensure shared tasks are completed.
  • To support the team and the Assessment Division with other administrative duties as required, including servicing meetings.

  • Educated to A level or equivalent
  • High Standard of written and spoken English
