We can offer you an influential and varied role working with colleagues around the world, providing technical, creative and analytic insight as you develop digital marketing campaigns for Cambridge Assessment English.

Drive creativity and effectiveness of our digital marketing activities
Working with internal teams and external agencies, you will plan and implement digital marketing campaigns globally, helping us grow demand for our products in the Higher Education and Corporate sectors.  Analysing the effectiveness of current initiatives, you will take the lead in designing new campaigns proposing relevant digital platforms and channels to achieve the desired objectives within the budget provided.

You’ll be hands-on 
No day is the same. Developing and managing digital advertising campaigns you will manage every element, from paid search, paid social, display advertising, remarketing and video advertising programmes, through to optimising performance and return on investment through A/B testing, delivering best practice in landing page layout and content.


Collaboration is key 
Thriving on working with colleagues to explore new ideas and deliver projects to agreed quality standards and on time, you will also manage external agencies to develop and deliver campaigns, evaluating their performance against KPI and ROI metrics.  You will also work closely with the wider marketing team in Cambridge Assessment English to develop and manage email marketing campaigns for B2C and B2B audiences, ensuring campaigns are fully optimised. 


Understanding website data
Responsible for helping to build an in-depth understanding you will lead initiatives to improve SEO, user journeys and grow website traffic.  Alongside, tracking, and analysing customer behaviour, using Google Analytics and other reporting tools, you will develop reports on campaigns, digital marketing activities and our global websites. 


Work with a global team

Supporting marketing teams across our global network of international offices means you will help build digital marketing capabilities in global teams. You will lead digital marketing reviews, provide training and best practice advice, as well as sharing creative ideas.


What we’re looking for
With substantial experience in leading successful digital campaigns (B2B and B2C) as well as experience using marketing automation platforms, you will have examples to share of how you have used your project management skills to deliver campaigns. You will also have hands-on experience of successfully implementing Google Analytics/ Google Adwords/ Display/ Search Console/ SEO/ Paid Social/ Remarketing (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin etc.) campaigns.

We will also like evidence of how you have optimised the content and layout of campaign landing pages to improve performance, used marketing automation platforms to create brand awareness, implemented nurturing and lead generation campaigns, and how you have provided timely, accurate and insightful data analysis and reporting.


An expert in how to use SEO tools to optimise digital marketing performance, you will have experience of managing best practice email marketing campaigns in a B2C and/or B2B environment.

•    the ability to prioritise a heavy workload within a fast-paced environment
•    a proven track record in developing and implementing multi-channel campaigns
•    excellent knowledge of marketing automation software
•    expert understanding of SEO strategies and best practice
•    expert knowledge of tracking
•    good knowledge of Google Tag Manager
•    good knowledge of GDPR
•    good technical understanding, with some knowledge of HTML and responsive design
