What it’s about

Cambridge Assessment Network provides expert training for assessment professionals. In January 2018 Cambridge Assessment Network launched its online training offer which has experienced rapid growth. To ensure the sustainability of the anticipated continued growth both through uptake and diversification of products within the online training offer we need to recruit a Digital Learning Administrator to work within a small team to support the development and expansion of the product range.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the customer experience is fully supported and that all business and operational processes are planned in an agile way.

You’ll be managing internal and external customer and consultant enquiries and have responsibility for the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) and course assets. Whilst the role holder will be working alongside more senior colleagues in the team, they will be expected to oversee customer support, management of participant registration, participation and certification, as well be involved in the content creation of the online courses.

The successful candidate will be able to efficiently use an LMS in order to provide Cambridge Assessment Network with a consistent, stable, user friendly, easy to access platform to deliver the online training portfolio.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Maintain the LMS portal content, ensuring accuracy, appropriateness, relevance and timely publication
  • Set up groups and define user roles and profiles
  • Recognise and resolve the issues that may appear relating to course design, configuration or infrastructure
  • Keep track of the newly uploaded courses and materials within the LMS
  • Ensure the LMS functions efficiently and act quickly responding to bugs and/or unexpected errors
  • Implement best learning practices into the LMS from internal and external feedback
  • Analyse the effectiveness of learning activities using analytics and qualitative feedback
  • Track participant’s activity throughout the courses and record the stages of the post-course assignment in the CRM
  • Respond to the digital learning queries raised by internal teams and external clients in the Support and Network mailboxes
  • Manage the administration of online tutors, including contractual arrangements, meeting set up and triage response to queries.

 

What we’re looking for

  • Exceptional customer service support experience to reduce learner attrition rates
  • Strong customer service background in a technical environment
  • Experience in Moodle administration or managing other LMS systems
  • Understanding and general knowledge of programming languages e.g. HTML5
  • Interest in eLearning/digital trends

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills within a customer facing role

Experience

  • Experience in using CRM and event booking software
  • Experience of HTML email creation and scheduling
