The Role


This is an exciting opportunity to join our Qualifications Development team within Cambridge International. Our dynamic team develops, and reviews qualifications taken in 160 countries, including IGCSE, O Levels and International AS & A Levels.


We are looking for a Development Manager to join our expanding team. We are a collaborative and supportive team and are looking for people who are willing to share their experience as well as develop their skills in a wide-ranging role.


What you will be doing


Development Manager will lead on the development of qualifications. You will be responsible for the project management and delivery of a range of qualification syllabuses and sample assessments to time, quality, and budget.


You will have the opportunity lead on specific aspects of the work to improve customer experience. This will include liaising on behalf of the team with colleagues, managing external consultants and stakeholder relationships, proof reading and budget and time management.


What we are looking for


A background in teaching in secondary school is an advantage, particularly international experience, or any experience in mathematics, technology, computing or physics subjects.



  • Experience in education, assessment, or publishing


You Will:

  • Be Educated to Degree level or equivalent
  • Have a solid and extensive background in teaching or publishing or assessment
  • Have previous experience of creating high quality documents for publication
  • Have excellent experience of managing projects in the educational sector.
