What it’s about

As Cambridge Assessment and Cambridge University Press come together as one organisation in August 2021, we are looking for a Credit Control Operations Analyst to work on the integration activities.


This is a multi-faceted role, with the primary focus of  analysing customer data and Revenue processes working with Revenue team members to identify and recommend approaches for the integration of customers masterdata who have multiple accounts with both organisations.  Supporting the wider Revenue department, you will identify, document and implement process improvements and help to identify best practice and approach for the management of our common customers.  The role has the scope for you to affect and shape our process changes.


You will have Credit Control or Credit Management experience with a strong interest in systems and process integrations.


The Revenue team are part of Finance and play an active role in offering support and guidance across the Cambridge Assessment family, helping to overcome the challenges that Covid-19 have brought upon us.  With the next challenge of integration on the horizon this role will be pivotal in helping the Revenue Senior Management make informed decisions that impact customer data.


What you will be doing

As part of a team, you will work on:

  • The integration project: analyse data sets to identify common customers.
  • Evaluation and documentation of the appropriate approach to onboarding, invoicing and credit management across the customer base. 
  • System testing the impacts on any Cambridge Assessment Revenue due to the project, ensuring that they are completed in a timely manner
  • Review and assist with updating any Cambridge Assessment Revenue policy documentation and any customer facing documents in accordance with integration requirement.
  • Work with Cambridge Assessment Revenue team to identify opportunities for improving systems and processes to streamline billing activities and collections



  • GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • Preferred CICM qualified or equivalent Credit Management experience



  • Strong numerical and analytical ability
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem solving and communication skills
  • Prioritise and balance a diverse workload 
  • Can quickly comprehend and learn new system/processes
  • Good team player with an organised mindset
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and creative thought processing skills
  • Able to follow and analyse processes to identify areas where improved efficiencies can be realised.



Must have experience in:

  • Delivering change 
  • Credit Management or wider Finance Revenue department 
  • Integration projects
  • International billing


Desirable skills

  • Knowledge of SAP
