What it’s about

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Catering Assistant with 5* catering and hospitality experience to join a dynamic and customer focused catering team working to produce and deliver excellent service to all Cambridge Assessment staff, guests and visitors.

 

What you’ll be doing

As catering Assistant, you will be working 36.5 hours per week, mostly monday – friday with some additional weekend hours required, flexibility is a must.

 

Duties include:

  • Serve customers delivering the best service possible
  • Assist chefs and Café Supervisors in preparation of our Grab and Go items
  • Set up servery and display counters
  • Ensure all our areas and catering equipments are cleaned at all time
  • Operation of Cashless Catering tills and kiosks

 

What we’re looking for

The ideal Catering Assistant will have proven customer service skills gained through experience working in within a restaurant / café environment. You will be an enthusiastic and self-motivated team player with great attention to detail and the ability to bring and share new ideas. You will be able to plan your own work and you’ll have a proven ability to manage your workload when under pressure to meet multiple deadlines and will enjoy contributing to the excellent reputation of the department. The ideal candidate will possess a customer service qualification as a minimum; a hospitality qualification is desirable.
