What it’s about
 

We are looking for a highly experienced Personal Assistant who will be working closely with the Director and the Business Unit Director of Cambridge Exams Publishing. Cambridge Exams Publishing is the official provider of exam preparation materials for all Cambridge English Qualifications. We are a joint venture between Cambridge Assessment English and Cambridge University Press based in the CUP offices.

 

What you’ll be doing

 

  • Act as Personal Assistant to the Cambridge Exams Publishing Director and Business Unit Director providing diary management, travel arrangements and expenses management.
  • Schedule and organise Board meetings, including contacting attendees, booking rooms, and sourcing all required documents.
  • Take minutes of meetings and summarise important documentation required for Cambridge Assessment English and Cambridge University Press.
  • Support the Cambridge Exams Publishing Business Support Team with travel booking, arranging meetings, reporting and general administrative support.

Qualifications

 

Essential

  • Educated to A level or equivalent

 

 Desirable

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent

 

Skills

 

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and multitask
  • An experienced team administrator with PA experience and excellent MS Office skills. 
  • A strong team player who is diplomatic, trustworthy, pragmatic and personable.
  • A highly motivated individual, able to work independently and manage their time effectively to meet tight deadlines.
  • A great communicator (written and verbal) with strong attention to detail.
  • Previous experience of working with joint units would be an advantage.
