Here at Cambridge Assessment we help people learn English and prove their skills to the world, and educational integrity is at the heart of everything we do.  We are looking for an Assessment Support Administrator to actively support the work within the Assessment department, providing general office administration duties supporting Managers and the wider department in the delivery of their goals.

 

The Assessment department provide content for exam papers and their customers are wide ranging from schools, assessment specialists, ministries and teachers, all on a truly global scale. 

 

What you’ll be doing

On a day to day basis you will be printing, scanning and filing confidential papers, and amending and formatting documentation as required.  You will also be involved in booking rooms, equipment and travel for the Qualifications team, using in-house procedures and systems, and additional administrative duties for Senior Managers as needed such as creating agendas for meetings.

You will be required to balance a full workload juggling multiple tasks from a large number of colleagues at one time, using your prioritisation skills on a daily basis.

At the hub of the department you will be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external staff at all levels, and in line with the nature of the department, be able to exercise excellent attention to detail.

Ideally you will already be familiar with basic/intermediate Microsoft Office packages along with at least Grade C English at GCSE level or equivalent.

 

You may already have experience of working in an office environment but we are also open to applications from those who have different experiences.

JOB PURPOSE

 

To provide basic administrative support for the Cambridge English Qualifications team within the Cambridge English Assessment department.

 

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

  • General office administration; including printing, scanning and filing
  • Booking rooms, equipment and travel for the Qualifications team, using in-house procedures and systems.
  • Amending/formatting documentation such as work instructions in Microsoft Word

 

  • Additional administrative duties for Senior Managers as needed (e.g. creating agendas for meetings)

Qualifications

 

At least Grade C English at GCSE level or equivalent.
